Airwave started life as a British company producing hang gliders. In the late 80's, Airwave's designer Bruce Goldsmith devoloped the Black Magic, an intermediate paraglider which began a hugely successful venture into paragliding.

Airwave is now based in Austria with development in the South of France, Bruce Goldsmith is still designing superb paragliders.

Airwave and Bruce continue to develop market leading designs - Bruce often demonstrating their effectiveness himself with many recent competition wins.
